Created with the EU support through Mayors for Economic Growth initiative, the Business Hub stimulates and motivates young people to start their own business by strengthening connectivity and networking between NGOs, decision-makers, young people, representatives from academic and business sectors. The Business Hub provides SMEs with space and all logistics support – equipment for presentations, materials for events, support for event promotion, etc. – for the organization of trainings and seminars.
Under the EU project "Civil Society contributes to the social and economic development of the country" in three cities of the Southern Region of Moldova, regional and local SMEs can get advice and develop capacities through individual and collective trainings and couching.
Created under the EU project "Civil Society contributes to the social and economic development of the country", the Hub contributes to the consolidation of a solid business environment, collaboration with public administration institutions and authorities.
The EU-supported hub encourages small and medium-sized entrepreneurs in rural areas of the Northern Region to develop agricultural and non-agricultural businesses by facilitating access to finance and developing the capacities of actors in the sector.
On EBA platform, SMEs can find useful information regarding practical workshops and coaching sessions, as well as networking events, which contribute to enhanced technical skills and a more open and qualitative business communication by sharing knowledge and expertise.

The EU Project “Support to SMEs in Rural Areas Project” implemented by ODIMM aimes at contributing to the improvement of the quality of rural life for sustainable development of the Republic of Moldova.
Within this project, the EU provides financial support for two National Business Support Programmes: PARE 1+1 Programme (National Programme for the Attraction of Migrants’ Remittances in to the Real Economy of the Republic of Moldova) and the WiB (Women in Business) Programme, which includes non-financial services, such as consultancy, mentoring and trainings, as well as financial support.
The programme is aimed at strengthening the economic, territorial and social cohesion in the Republic of Moldova through facilitating inclusive, sustainable and integrated local socio-economic growth and improving the standards of living of the citizens in the so called "micro-region" area of Ungheni and Cahul.
The Deep and Comprehensive Free Trade Area (DCFTA) Initiative East aims at strengthening the private sector, in particular SMEs, to compete in local and international markets, by: providing technical assistance to counterpart financial intermediaries via institutional and capacity-building activities and advisory services to SMEs at regional and local level, by promoting rural development with a particular focus on agri-food value chain development.
DCFTA Facility Phase II by EBRD provides business advice for SMEs to enhance their technical, managerial, market knowledge and investment project development capacity.
The project supports private sector – so that it can benefit from the Deep and Comprehensive Free Trade Area (DCFTA) agreement, by improving SMEs’ competitiveness and providing SMEs with the necessary know-how to grow their businesses.
This programme is designed to offer the following technical assistance: help SMEs develop and implement good-quality capital investment projects, assist SMEs in developing and implementing viable investment projects, business plans and financial reporting, provide expertise of industry-specific consultants to advise on energy efficient or environmentally-friendly practices.
This programme is dedicated to helping businesses make the most of the opportunities of the Deep and Comprehensive Free Trade Area agreements with the European Union. Business advisory projects with local consultants and international advisers strengthen the competitiveness of SMEs, facilitate exports, adapt new standards, raise awareness of the DCFTA, provide better access to finance, and improve the quality, of local business advisory services.
Consultants may provide assistance to financial intermediaries focusing on specific projects and clients. Partner Financial Institutions (PFIs) may get assistance with expanding their regional outreach and diversifying their client base. Targeted crisis response and trade finance banking consultancy services are also delivered within the project, as well as spreading know-how of contemporary trade finance banking skills.
The portal is a national information tool for businesses engaged in international trade, for authorities, as well as for other stakeholders that will be able to access first-hand reliable information with respect to customs legislation, customs regimes and destinations, declaration, classification and origin of goods, permits, and the rules for border crossing concerning goods and transportation units.
The Women in Business programme helps women-led small and medium-sized enterprises to access the finance and the know-how they need to grow. The programme also offers training, mentoring and other support to enable women entrepreneurs to share experiences and learn from each other.
SMEs can jointly implement projects and development programmes as well as receive advice regarding effective problem solving through RIAM – a platform created by the Organization for Small and Medium Enterprises Sector Development (ODIMM) with the EU support, and 6 Incubators from the Republic of Moldova.
In the Business Incubator in Cahul supported by the ODIMM and the EU, SMEs can benefit from the following services: office and production space for rent at a lower price than the commercial one, administrative and technical services, business consulting and guidance, access to finance.
Created with ODIMM and the EU assitance, the incubator supports the development of the newly created enterprises by offering them the following services: office space for rent, basic services for ensuring efficient activity, business start-up consulting services, etc.
The companies can be housed in the EU and ODIMM-supported incubator for a period of 3 years and receive consulting and training in business management.
IP IARD is a public, non-commercial institution established with the EU and ODIMM support, which offers entrepreneurs viable ideas and business plans by providing them with space, logistics and consultancy services in developing successful business marketing plans.
SMEs can grow their own business, benefiting from several facilities, such as: space for rent, business development trainings, and grants. Within the Business Incubator in Leova, opened with the EU and ODIMM support, entrepreneurs can share their innovative ideas and exchange experience with peers.

In the EU-supported incubator, SMEs can get permanent logistics and information support so that they can start and grow their business and create new jobs leading to significant growth and sustainable living standards of the population of Soroca.
Entrepreneurs that manage business at any stage – an idea or a working business with branches – can apply to be included in the business incubator for further development. The Business Incubator was created under the M4EG initiative to support the successful establishment and development of enterprises in the northern region of Moldova.
The EU-supported cluster helps its members access the European markets, facilitates collaboration between members and innovation management, helps with marketing and visibility activities as well as training.
