The 5th Eastern Partnership (EaP) summit will take place in Brussels on Friday, 24 November, bringing together heads of state and government from EU member states and the six Eastern partner countries.

The Organisation for the Development of the Small and Medium Enterprises Sector of the Republic of Moldova (ODIMM) and the Moldova-Romania Bilateral Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CBCIRM-RO) have agreed to develop a partnership to support and promote entrepreneurs in both countries.

Trade between the EU and the Republic of Moldova has continued to increase since the entry into force of the deep and comprehensive free trade area (DCFTA) between the two countries, EU Trade Commissioner Cecilia Malmström said in a speech to the European Business Association in Chisinau on 6 November 2017.

The European Investment Bank (EIB) and the European Investment Fund (EIF) – jointly the EIB Group – signed today the first guarantee agreements with ProCredit Holding and its subsidiaries in order to support EUR 100 million of lending to small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine under EU4Business initiative.

The 4th Eastern Partnership (EaP) Business Forum takes place in Tallinn on 26-27 October 2017, under the Estonian Presidency of the Council of the European Union.
