Helping small and medium enterprises in Moldova grow

Today, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), in partnership with the European Union, announced the extension of new financial packages worth a total of €22.5 million to three Moldovan banks under the EU4Business-EBRD Credit Line. The proceeds will be lent on to Moldovan companies. 

Ten women entrepreneurs in Moldova have been awarded vouchers totalling 500,000 lei (around €25,600).

A delegation of Moldovan business leaders concluded a two-day visit to Brussels, meeting with senior European Union officials to explore expanded trade and investment opportunities as Moldova continues its EU integration process. The high-profile visit, supported by EU4Business, took place on September 15-16 and included meetings across multiple EU institutions.
